Do I have to wear a bicycle helmet?

The Danish Road Safety Council recommends that riders always wear a helmet. Rent a helmet on the website when you book your bike and ride safely.

What to do in case of a puncture?

In case of a puncture, just call Hvide Sande Bike, we will repair or exchange the bicycle with a new one – no extra charges. You just call in your location and we will come as quickly as possible.

Do I have to redeliver the bicycle at the end of my rental period?

No, Hvide Sande Bike collects your bicycle at your holiday home at the end of the rental period. You just need to place the bike at the same place where you found it upon arrival.

Can I use the bicycle on the beach?

Yes, just make sure to clean the bicycle afterwards.

Who is responsible if my bike is stolen?

Theft of unlocked bikes are the renter's responsibility. We recommend that you do not leave the bike unlocked and unattended.

Which assurance applies?

A Collision insurance - not a liability insurance. The insurance does not apply in case of reckless use of the bicycle. The policy only applies in case of theft if the bicycle was locked at the time of the theft.

Where can I get the bikes delivered?

Hvidesandebike.dk delivered the bikes to any address in Holmsland Klit, that is the headland between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord from Nymindegab in the south to Houvig/Lodbjerg Hede in the north.
